SUBJECT: Handyman Contract/ Statement of Need (SON)

1. GENERAL SCOPE

a. The work covered by this contract will include, but is not limited to, the removal of existing paint, the installation of 1,536 square feet of 10” R-38 thermal coating open cell spray foam.

This work will occur at Building 931 at Travis AFB, CA

b. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, operations and incidentals as required to install new thermal coating. Work shall be accomplished in accordance with the contract documents

c. All work shall be accomplished between the hours of 0700-1600, Monday-Friday.

d. All contractor vehicles must enter the base via the South Gate and shall be subject to inspection.

All contractor personnel must obtain base passes or be listed on the Entry Access List (EAL) throughout duration of work performance.

2. WORK ITEMS

a. The contractor shall comply with all applicable NEC, Federal, State construction standards.

Current Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) standards also apply.

Contractor shall be in compliance in accordance with all NFPA, AFI, UFC and ETL standards for fire safety.

All waste materials not mentioned above will be disposed of and removed off base by Contractor. Contractor will practice good housekeeping during project.
