Introduction: This questionnaire is completely voluntary and does not constitute any form of direction from the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government be liable for cost incurred. This information will be used for market research purposes only. Your participation is greatly appreciated.

Currently, the Air Force is conducting market research to gather information on capabilities and business practices with regard to advertising and marketing services to include but not limited to planning, designing, creating, producing, placing and executing marketing, special events, and advertising campaigns in all appropriate media in support of the Air Force recruitment program. In order to further that research, a response to the following questions is requested.

1. What type of advertising/marketing services do you normally offer to the commercial market?

2. Which, if any, of these services do you provide to Federal, State or Local Governments?

3. Do you consider yourself a “full service” agency?

4. Are you clasified with The Small Business Administration (SBA) as an 8A firm, small disadvantaged business, woman-owned business etc….? Are you a small business based on NAICS code______ with a small business size standard of _____?

5. What type of contacts does your Agency prefer; cost reimbursable or fixed price, and why?

6. Are contracts normally executed prior to development of an advertising/marketing campaign or after acceptance of the campaign by the customer?

7. What is the average contract lifespan, please delineate between commercial customers and Government customers?

8. Does your Agency provide advertising, marketing, and special event services, or would it be necessary to subcontract? If so, how much?

9. How do you measure your success?

10. What value would a military account bring to your agency?

- Given the current world situation, would this be viewed as an opportunity or challenge?

11. If a company has a market identity problem, would you be willing to bid on the contract?

12. Would you bid on more than one military service’s advertising solicitations at the same time?

13. How long does it take to prepare a proposal when you bid on a new contract?

14. Please provide any additional information you feel would be helpful to this market research.
