| 9 | Who has the responsibility of transporting and delivering of Ground Support Meals? | This is an inherently Governmental function. Government personnel will be in charge of delivering Ground support meals. |
| 10 | Most of the equipment surpasses the life expectancy under Appendix 4, does the government intend to replace this equipment and is “all” of the equipment listed in good working order? | Yes - all equipment is out of life cycle and the Government is in the process of replacing all pieces of equipment. Currently, all equipment is in working order. |
| 11 | What defines “basic maintenance and repair services” under Paragraph 1.8 Equipment and 1.8.2 Repairs/Maintenance? | Basic Maintenance is considered anything that will keep the equipment operational without replacing a significant component of the equipment. A significant component would be a piece of equipment that would exceed 20% of the value of this equipment to keep that equipment operational. |

| 17 | Are there sufficient amount of serving lines to service up to 2400 diners during the lunch meal? | Currently, the DFAC is capable of serving 2400 diners for lunch meals. Our current numbers reflect an average of about 1100 to 1500 diners for lunch. |
| 18 | Since the government is now requiring the contractor to bear the expenses of both labor and parts for all DFAC government-owned equipment, and include it in the labor CLIN, would the government please provide detailed records of maintenance and repair (including costs) of each piece of equipment? | Please reference the answer to question 1. |

Please clarify which instructions are to be followed; the Solicitation or the Instructions.
It appears that the Solicitation wording might be left over from the Draft.
| Our writing system duplicated the instructions from the draft RFP - we have made the corrections to remove the duplication. The attachment "Instructions to Offerors_Evaluation Factors" are the instructions to be followed. | ||
