SUBJECT: MAJCOM Approval, Ascension Island’s Airfield Operating Instruction (AOI)
11-250, AIRFIELD OPERATIONS AND BASE FLYING PROCEDURES
1. Our staff reviewed the subject OI IAW AFI 13-204V3 for compliance with AF directives and requirements. The agreement is operationally sufficient and provides for essential airfield operations coordination and notifications, and is approved. Should additional changes be made after receipt of this letter, the OI must be re-staffed for additional review and validation. Please ensure all affected agencies receive documented familiarization training prior to implementation.
2. Forward a signed/scanned copy of the final version of this OI to our office at afspc.a3sra@us.af.mil, prior to commencing operations or within 60 days (whichever comes first); non-receipt within this suspense will nullify the approval and render the OI invalid.
