SUBJECT: Request for Proposal (RFP), FA2517-09-R-6032, Technical and Advisory Support
Services (TA2S)
1. The Department of the Air Force invites your proposal submission for TA2S. The Government appreciates your participation including industry’s ideas, comments and input since this acquisition process was initiated. Beginning with the initial sources sought, the Government has held an industry day, numerous sessions of one-on-one discussions, and posted several draft RFPs to ensure the process was inclusive of industry input. Each has enabled the Government develop and improve the solicitation.
2. This acquisition is a full small business set-aside, and the Government will conduct a performance-price trade-off (PPT) to determine successful offerors. This process will result in up to three awards.
3. Please review all documents carefully, since some revisions have been made to the final RFP documents. Offerors are again advised to ensure their initial submission is their best effort.
4. The Contracting Officer is the sole source of contact for this acquisition. Therefore, all communications between the Government and industry regarding this solicitation shall be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer only. All correspondence shall be in writing and addressed to the undersigned via e-mail at jeane.steed@peterson.af.mil.
5. Be advised that an exercise affecting Peterson Air Force Base begins on 2 May 2011. Your vehicle may be subjected to random vehicle searches, and you may likely encounter unexpected delays at the gates. Please plan accordingly.
6. The Government expects substantial competition for this acquisition, and, ultimately, outstanding performance from the successful offerors. Thank you for your interest and participation.
