About this file
This is a Piggyback Clause exhibit from the State of Colorado that extends contract purchasing privileges to recipient agencies outside Colorado. The clause permits non-Colorado entities to purchase food and/or services under the same terms and conditions established in the primary contract between the State of Colorado and the contractor. The contractor's acceptance or rejection of this provision does not impact the rights and obligations of the existing contract with Colorado, and any purchases by external agencies remain subject to subsequent agreements negotiated directly between the contractor and the non-Colorado recipient agency.
The piggyback provision is governed by the Contracts section 20 paragraph O. Contractors must affirmatively indicate acceptance by marking "YES" and providing a signature and date on the exhibit. This clause allows for contract utilization beyond the state's borders while maintaining pricing and service terms established in the original Colorado contract, provided that additional agreements are executed between the contractor and external purchasing entities.
