About this file

This is a Performance Requirement Summary (PRS) matrix that establishes performance standards and acceptance quality levels for a laundry and textile services contract.

The document specifies five key performance areas with corresponding Acceptable Quality Limits (AQL) and maximum allowable deviations measured by validated customer complaints per month. Delivery and Pick-up Services (PWS 1.6) has an AQL of 15 with a tolerance of no more than 1 validated complaint per month. Textiles Provision (PWS 4.5) has the highest AQL of 40 with a tolerance of no more than 3 validated complaints per month. Standards of Quality (PWS 5.2) and Packaging of Laundered Articles (PWS 5.7) each have an AQL of 1.5 with a tolerance of no more than 2 validated complaints per month. While in Transit (PWS 5.8) has an AQL of 1.5 with a tolerance of no more than 1 validated complaint per month. All performance areas utilize the same surveillance method—Periodic Surveillance Checklist and Customer Complaint documentation in CPARS—and require the contractor to correct deficiencies at no additional cost to the Government.
