About this file
This document is an exhibit containing requirements for the two 30-34-passenger prisoner transport modules that the Washington State Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking proposals for. The DOC will separately procure the chassis on which the modules will be mounted. The modules must be delivered no later than May 31, 2026 and must meet detailed specifications including dimensions, construction, seating, lighting, electrical, and security systems. The document outlines specific requirements for the module's exterior, interior, compartments, climate control, and other features.
The related state and local contract opportunity indicates this is a request for proposals from bidders to provide the two prisoner transport modules. The contract opportunity covers multiple jurisdictions within Washington state, including counties, cities, and census designated places. Pricing terms, set-asides, funding sources, and other contract details are not provided in the documents reviewed.
