Summary of TEMA Restroom Trailer Specifications
This specification document outlines technical requirements for two restroom trailers to be procured by the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) under Sourcing Event 34101-13761. Each trailer must feature a two-compartment design with separate male and female facilities containing a total of eight stations: five toilets (two male, three female), two male urinals, four sinks (two male, two female), and four soap and paper towel dispensers (two male, two female). The trailers must be silver in exterior color and include a 2 5/16" coupler with electric tongue jack, spare mounted wheel and tire, exterior folding stainless steel entry handle, exterior patio light, dedicated exterior steps per door, and LED lighting throughout including two flood lights per side with one front and one rear light. Fresh water tank capacity must be at least 200 gallons with an electric water heater, while waste tank capacity must be at least 700 gallons. Each trailer requires dual 15,000 BTU air conditioning units, a mechanical room, 25-foot power cords, and sanitary hoses with adapters for waste tank evacuation. All materials must meet or exceed DOT, RVIA, ANSI, and NEC standards. Delivery is required to TEMA at 3041 Sidco Drive, Nashville, Tennessee 37204 within twelve months of purchase order receipt, with Andrew Bates (865-209-5575, andrew.bates@tn.gov) designated as the primary point of contact.
Safety compliance requirements include one carbon monoxide and smoke detector per restroom and one fire extinguisher per restroom. Each trailer must accommodate city water through a pressurized system via garden hose with an on-board pump. Power input specifications require that if multiple 50-amp connections are necessary, a power cube or power distribution box must be supplied with Cam-Lok input capability for generator connections. The specification document does not address pricing, contract terms, insurance requirements, or set-aside provisions; these details are contained in the related procurement opportunity documentation.
