About this file
This is Amendment One to a solicitation issued by the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) for the procurement of emergency response trailers. The amendment clarifies technical specifications and responses to vendor questions regarding two restroom trailers and two shower/laundry trailers for disaster response operations in Davidson County, Tennessee. The original response deadline has been revised to December 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM Central Time. Key clarifications include confirmation that nine-stall restroom trailers are acceptable alternatives to eight-stall models, that shower and laundry trailers must be combination units rather than separate units, that bunk accommodation trailers must accommodate ten persons rather than eight, and that no service contract is required with the purchase. Interior trailer height must be seven feet, and trailers must meet size specifications for their respective functions. Delivery is FOB Destination with photo identification required at delivery, and vendors must contact the point of contact to schedule delivery appointments.
The amendment addresses technical specifications and material alternatives, confirming that white fiberglass trailers may be wrapped to meet silver color requirements and that Poly Neptune flooring is acceptable as an alternative to marine-grade flooring. However, hydraulic tongue jacks are not permitted, and bidders are not allowed to submit multiple bids for different manufacturers. The amendment clarifies that separate specification documents exist for restroom and shower/laundry trailers, with restroom specifications detailing the number and configuration of restroom stations. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain in full force and effect, including the F.O.B. Destination pricing terms, compliance with state procurement requirements, and insurance and registration obligations for respondents.
