About this file
This document is a HUB Subcontracting Opportunities exhibit associated with a state and local contract opportunity from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) for the design and manufacture of a 35-40 foot aluminum or fiberglass medium deep-v hull research vessel with a single inboard diesel engine or a catamaran vessel with dual inboard diesel engines. The required vessel shall also be equipped with an A-frame, winch, and other gear to collect marine samples in the near-shore Gulf of Mexico and Texas coastal bays. The contract opportunity covers multiple jurisdictions, including Travis County and the City of Austin. TPWD has set a 21.1% HUB subcontracting goal for this contract.
The document provides a list of potential subcontracting opportunities by class and item code, including construction services for boats, barges, and ferries, as well as engine and boat supplies. It also includes contact information for various minority and women's business organizations that can assist vendors in identifying HUB subcontractors. Pricing terms, funding sources, and other salient details are not included in this exhibit.
