About this file
This is a vendor information template document for the A&M System's Student Information System (SIS) software selection RFP process in Texas. The template requests comprehensive information from software vendors responding to the solicitation, including detailed company background, qualifications, experience, and implementation capabilities. Vendors must provide documentation across multiple sections including organizational overview, years in business, annual sales volumes, R&D spending, employee counts, and industry focus with emphasis on Higher Education sector presence. The RFP requires vendors to demonstrate experience with multi-institution university systems and R1-designated institutions, provide minimum three references of similar scope and geography (preferably North American), disclose any AI and Machine Learning capabilities, and identify implementation services providers certified to deploy the proposed SIS solution. Key personnel information, including account management, software solution leadership, and sales roles, must be named with years of experience documented.
The template mandates vendors meet specific minimum qualifications including ten years of business operation in similar solutions, no contract terminations for cause within twenty-four months, disclosure of any lawsuits within five years, no bankruptcy filings within ten years, current Worker's Compensation Insurance, and proof of SIS implementation experience within multi-institution systems and R1-designated institutions. The proposed solution must operate through a cloud-based environment for all capabilities and functions. Vendors must also identify any third-party subcontractors or implementation partners being utilized, provide their qualifications and references, disclose any pending acquisitions or mergers, and detail any past non-renewed or cancelled work with A&M System members or public sector entities. The document includes sections for vendors to note any exceptions to RFP requirements with rationale and proposed alternatives for A&M System consideration.
