About this file

This is Addendum II to a Request for Sealed Bids issued by Burnet County, Texas for the re-bid installation of a limited use/limited access (LU/LA) hydraulic passenger elevator at 127 E. Jackson, Burnet, Texas 78611 (Bid #26-4090-05). The addendum updates the bid title to reflect "Elevator/Limited Use Limited Access Lift" and establishes that the pre-bid meeting, originally scheduled for January 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the project site, is now mandatory and must be scheduled by appointment. Bidders are required to attend this meeting and must provide written assumptions supporting their bid proposals. The addendum adds two critical exhibits to the bid package: Exhibit A—Elvoron CPL Planning Guide and Exhibit B—Building Drawings. The sealed bid submission deadline remains February 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Burnet County Auditor Office, 133 E. Jackson, with electronic submission available to bids@burnetcountytexas.org. Questions must be submitted by January 27, 2026 at 12:00 PM.

The procurement requires a factory-trained, licensed, and authorized Cibes Symmetry dealer to provide and install an elevator with a capacity of 1,400 pounds, car dimensions not exceeding 48 inches by 54 inches, two stops, and a travel speed of 30 feet per minute. Deliverables include complete installation, a three-year limited parts warranty covering defective components, and a three-year maintenance service agreement with inspections every six months per ASME A17.1 standards. All work must comply with ICC/ANSI 117.1, NEC, and ASME A17.1 guidelines, with designs subject to local, city, and state approval. A 5% bid guaranty is required at submission, and performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract value are mandated, indicating an anticipated contract value exceeding $100,000. Burnet County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award by line item to the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specification requirements. Contract award is expected within 60 calendar days following bid opening.
