About this file
This document is Addendum #1 to RFP 2024-P11 for Employee Group Health, Dental, and Employee Assistance Plans issued by Hays County, Texas. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified companies to provide a comprehensive package including Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, and Employee Wellness/Assistance Plan. The County intends to evaluate any combination of plan designs, networks, and services, and is looking to partner with insurance companies that can help achieve competitive long-term and stable financial success while offering a robust benefits package. The contract term is August 2024 to August 2027, with the selected provider(s) expected to begin providing coverage on January 1, 2025.
The addendum provides Questions & Answers, updates to the census and enrollment data, and additional supporting documentation. It confirms there is no HUB subcontracting goal, and the County is requesting Stop Loss bids for a 48/12 contract basis. The current incumbent vendor is Deer Oaks for the Employee Assistance Plan, and the County currently has Humana coverage for Medicare-eligible retirees, though a proposal for those plans is not required.
