About this file

This document outlines a price and services schedule for a federal construction contract opportunity. The General Services Administration seeks a contractor to perform Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility upgrades at the Seattle Federal Office Building, as well as tenant improvement build-outs for the Department of Labor and Housing and Urban Development. Key work includes renovating spaces for DOL to relocate from leased premises and reduce its footprint, bringing the building into full ADA compliance including new restrooms, and allowing HUD to consolidate and downsize its space occupancy. The contractor must coordinate construction to minimize impacts to ongoing building and tenant operations, maintaining no fewer than two egress paths at all times. The substantial completion deadline for the DOL build-out is August 15, 2023 to allow for its full occupancy prior to lease expiration. The price and services schedule includes line items for the individual project components with blank spaces for contractors to enter fixed prices, as well as allowance amounts for potential hazardous materials abatement and security clearance costs.
