About this file

This document is Addendum #1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) DOAH-ITB #24/25-005, issued by the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings (DOAH) for Relocation Services for the Office of Judges of Compensation Claims (OJCC) St. Petersburg and Tampa Offices. The addendum provides updates to the original solicitation, including revisions to the estimated inventory and responses to 18 specific questions from potential bidders. Key details include a four-month contract period, confirmation that the vendor will have 5 days to complete all moves, and clarification on various moving logistics such as handling metal detectors, computer placement, and site walkthrough requirements. The addendum specifies that computers should be moved to each individual's designated workspace and that final walk-through inspections must be conducted in person with representatives from both DOAH and the awarded vendor present.

The document provides critical operational guidance for the relocation, including that DOAH will remove seals and signage, staff will be responsible for moving personal items, and the moving vendor can be provided to staff for optional personal item moving coordination. The contract value will be based on the prices submitted in the vendor's price sheet, covering materials and packing/relocation labor costs. The document emphasizes flexibility in the moving schedule within the allocated week and references an attached Customer Moving Guide from Highwoods for specific instructions. Notably, the addendum clarifies that while both St. Petersburg and Tampa offices can be moved, DOAH has limited IT staff to reconnect individual computer equipment, so they are open to hearing different moving approach options from vendors.
