About this file
This document is Addendum #1 for the Division of Administrative Hearings (DOAH) Invitation to Bid (ITB) #24/25-005 for Relocation Services for the Office of Judges of Compensation Claims (OJCC) St. Petersburg and Tampa Offices. The addendum updates language related to the estimated inventory, provides a revised Exhibit 1, and addresses 18 questions from potential bidders. The contract covers a four-month period from May to August 2025, with the awarded vendor responsible for relocating office contents from the existing St. Petersburg and Tampa locations. The move is expected to take place within 5 days, with flexibility in scheduling, and requires careful handling of items including computers, metal detectors, and office supplies.
The document clarifies that the contract value will be based on the prices provided in the awarded vendor's submitted price sheet, which includes materials and relocation labor costs. DOAH will handle removal of seals, signage, and room plaques, and staff will be responsible for moving personal items. The moving vendor must conduct in-person walkthroughs before and after the relocation to identify any deficiencies or site damage. The addendum emphasizes that the vendor must move all non-built-in shelving and supplies, carefully handle equipment like metal detectors, and place computers in each individual's designated workspace. DOAH will provide a list of participating vendors to staff for potential personal item moving coordination.
