| Page 44 of the SOW indicates that at the PHB DOJ requires 2 color copiers in the copy center; page 46 indicates that at the MAIN building copy center DOJ requires 1 color copier; this brings us to a total of three color copiers in the DC copy centers. The pricing table only asks for two color copiers to be priced for the DC copy centers. |
Would the government please clarify which is the correct number of copiers to be priced for the DC copy centers?
There should be two color copiers for the PHB copy center and one for the copy center in MAIN for a total of three. The pricing table will be amended to include three color copiers for the DC copy centers.

| Currently in Attachment 6 DOJ provides the number of convenience copiers, the type (color or B&W) and the monthly average of “clicks” indicating usage. For the DC area there are currently 24 convenience copiers (per attachment 6). In the solicitation pricing spreadsheet DOJ has indicated that the offeror is to price 26 convenience copiers for the DC area. |
Would the government please provide information as to whether these additional copiers are to be color or B&W, and the potential volume estimates for each?
There are twenty-two convenience copiers to be installed in PHB, three in MAIN, and one in the Landover Records Warehouse (this copier was listed with the field office copiers in Attachment (6) since it is Maryland but it should really be considered one of the Washington DC copiers) for a total of twenty-six convenience copiers in the Washington DC area. There are also five convenience copiers required at field locations (two in Denver, one in San Francisco, one in Sacramento, and one in Seattle). Section C.3.7.4 of the solicitation requires that the contractor provide nineteen black and white copiers and twelve color copers. It is up to the bidder to propose which machines should be installed at which location. We have no stats for the one additional convenience copier in Washington DC, nor do we have any stats for the convenience copier in Seattle.
