About this file

The provided document appears to be a set of instructions for DEVGRU contractor access. The key steps are:

  1. Submit a Sponsor Verification form to the DEVGRU contact to obtain a DBIDS pass.
  2. Submit a DEVGRU Spreadsheet for a Visitors Request.
  3. Schedule duty escorts for the effort.
  4. Go to NAS Oceana Pass & ID to obtain the DBIDS pass, bringing required identification documents.
  5. Arrive at the DEVGRU Visitors Center before the scheduled time to meet the duty escort and obtain a Command Visitors Badge.
  6. Work in constant contact with the duty escort, not wandering off.
  7. Return the badge and obtain ID when leaving for the day or for lunch.

The related federal contract opportunity is for a project to replace CRAC units in a server room at the Dam Neck Annex. The project will remove existing DX CRAC systems and install two new non-ducted, air cooled, split type CRAC systems. Only contractors on the specified MACC group can submit proposals.

DEVGRU Contractor Access Instructions:

Step One: DBIDS. Submit completed Sponsor Verification form to DEVGRU contact. (Submitted to N10ENG, in this case Don Bryant. The N10ENG will submit internally.). DEVGRU contact will submit Sponsor Verification form to NAS Ocean Pass & ID.

Step Two: Submit “DEVGRU SPREADSHEET” for a Visitors Request. (Submitted to N10ENG, in this case Jeremy Yeiter. Then N10ENG will submit internally.)

Step Three: Schedule Duty Escorts for the effort. (Requested by you, performed by N10ENG, in this case Jeremy Yeiter.)

The above must be done before going to Oceana or Dam Neck.

Step Four: Go to NAS Oceana Pass & ID to obtain DBIDS pass. Bring current Form 5512 with you. You can complete form ahead of time, or complete it at NASO Pass & ID. Be sure to bring the two forms of ID that you list on the form.

If driving a company vehicle with signage on the vehicle, go to NAS Oceana Pass and ID and go through the inspection lane before coming to Dam Neck. (It’s a really good idea to drive something without signage.)

Step Five: Arrive at the DEVGRU Visitors Center BEFORE the scheduled time. Duty Escorts will be there waiting for you. If you are late, it is highly likely that they will leave and do their normal job. If this happens, you will not be working on compound that day.

Step Six: Meet your escort and obtain Command Visitors Badge at the Visitors Center. You will have to trade your driver’s license or other picture ID for the Command Visitors Badge. Badge must be worn at all times on your front, above the waist.

Step Seven: Do your work in constant contact with your Duty Escort. Don’t leave him/her. Don’t wander off.

Step Eight: When you leave for lunch or for the day, return to the Visitors Center (still accompanied by your Duty Escort) to return your badge and obtain your ID.
