This is a Davis Bacon Wage Rates document for the Charles County VanGo Maintenance Facility Construction project in Maryland, administered by the Board of Commissioners for Charles County in coordination with the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The project involves construction of a new public transit facility to support VanGo operations on approximately 6.72 acres located on VanGo Way near Waldorf, Maryland. The facility design includes an approximately 180,000-square-foot program comprising approximately 20,000 square feet of administration, operations, and maintenance service space and approximately 82,000 square feet of commuter-bus parking, designed to support approximately fifty transit buses. The Work encompasses the operations and maintenance building, bus parking and circulation, roadway and access-road improvements, bus wash and chassis wash facilities, fare-collection facilities, fueling infrastructure, trash enclosure, parking areas, utilities, grading, drainage, stormwater management, landscaping, pavement markings, signage, and all related improvements as specified in the Contract Documents.

This Davis Bacon Wage Rates document establishes the prevailing wage requirements applicable to the project, which is funded in part with Federal and State transit funds administered through the MTA. As a federally-funded transit infrastructure project, all contractors and subcontractors must comply with Davis Bacon prevailing wage requirements, along with all applicable County, State, MTA, FTA, labor, environmental, quality, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements incorporated into the Contract Documents. The prevailing wage rates specified in this document are mandatory for all workers employed on the project and must be reflected in contractor bids and labor cost projections.
