Special Notice Announcement

The purpose of this announcement is to provide notification of Industry Day #2 for the Technical, Engineering, Advisory and Management Support (TEAMS) Next follow on activities.

TEAMS includes all Missile Defense Agency (MDA) requirements for Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS). This TEAMS-Next Industry Day will provide industry with an overview of A&AS requirements, feedback on market research to date, and an opportunity for potential primes and their subcontractor teams to meet one-on-one with the Government. A list of current TEAMS contracts and a proposed agenda for Industry Day #2 are provided below for reference.

MDA plans to conduct this TEAMS-Next Industry Day #2 General Session (open to all companies) from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm Central Time on June 18, 2019 at The Westin Hotel, 6800 Governors West, Huntsville, Alabama 35806. This event will be open to all potential offerors, however seating will be limited to no more than two individuals per company. If you plan to attend this event, please email TEAMS-Next@mda.mil by 3:00 pm on May 17, 2019 CST. Title your response “Industry Day Participation”, include the name of your company and the name and contact information of your planned representative.

Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this announcement or for attendance to any Industry Day. This announcement is for information planning purposes only and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any actual procurement of supplies or services. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation or a promise of a solicitation issuance in the future.

The Government anticipates a limited number of slots for one-on-one meetings with contractors.

These meetings will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis as requested in emailed responses to this announcement [with potential primes and their potential subcontractor or teaming partners (only)] starting on the day following the General Session. Primes and subs/partners will be limited to 6 individuals total for one-on-ones. Depending on the level of interest and Government resource constraints, the Government may add an additional day for one-on-one meetings. To maximize the time allotted for one-on-ones, the Government would like to focus specifically on: 1) Government questions on the acquisition strategy feedback provided by the company in response to part 2 of the February 5, 2019, RFI (if applicable); 2) OCI related concerns of the company for Government consideration; 3) Company recommended areas for requirements consolidation; and 4) Any other areas of concern unique to the company and/or subs/partners. Please send one-on-one requests to TEAMS-Next@mda.mil by COB May 17, 2019. Title your response “Industry Day One-on-One Request” and include the name of your company and subcontractor(s) (if applicable) and the name and contact information of your planned representative(s).

The Government may conduct additional industry days prior to release of RFPs. Attendance at this Industry Day is NOT a requirement to attend future TEAMS-Next Industry Days.
