FORT BELVOIR, VIRGINIA 22060-5573
CT April 9, 2020
MEMORANDUM FOR ALL INDUSTRY PARTNERS
SUBJECT: COVID-19 Missile Defense Agency Operations Update
Reference: Missile Defense Agency Memorandum on COVID-19 MDA Operations, dated
March 16, 2020
This is a follow-up to the referenced memorandum and in accordance with the
President’s direction to extend COVID-19 national distancing guidelines. The Missile Defense
Agency (MDA) extended its telework operations through April 30, 2020. I remain steadfast in encouraging our Industry Partners to implement telework for their employees as appropriate and follow direction regarding Mission Essential Function/Essential Support Function mandates related to MDA facility access.
In light of this extended period, MDA plans to release select Request for Proposals to support products and service requirements for future and ongoing Missile Defense System
(MDS) mission areas. We commit to providing open lines of communication to respond to concerns industry may have supporting the MDS.
J. A. HILL
Vice Admiral, USN
Director
