About this file
This is a Combined Synopsis and Solicitation/Request for Quote (RFQ) for preventive maintenance services on medical sterilization and disinfection equipment. The Defense Health Agency's Healthcare Contracting Division – Southeast is soliciting on behalf of the 6th Medical Group at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, for preventive maintenance services for two STERIS AMSCO 400 Series 20 Small Steam Sterilizers and two STERIS AMSCO 2532 Single-Chamber Washer/Disinfectors. The base contract period runs from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, with five additional option periods extending through April 1, 2032. This is a 100% small business set-aside with a NAICS code of 811210 and a small business size standard of $34 million. Quotes are due by August 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM local time, with the award/effective date anticipated for August 1996 (though this appears to be a documentation error). The solicitation is for firm fixed-price services under full and open competition, with delivery/performance at the 6th Medical Dental Services Squadron, Maintenance Management, 3250 Zemke Avenue, Building 1078, Tampa, Florida 33621-5205.
The statement of work requires the contractor to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance services including corrective maintenance, calibration, diagnostics, replacement parts installation, and actions necessary to return equipment to original manufacturer specifications. Services must comply with FAR and DFARS clauses incorporated by reference, including provisions for Service Contract Labor Standards, payment via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), electronic invoicing requirements, and standard contract administration procedures. The solicitation incorporates FAR clauses 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5 for commercial products and services, along with numerous DFARS clauses covering cybersecurity, safeguarding of defense information, small business utilization, labor standards, and other regulatory requirements. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must complete representations and certifications electronically in SAM prior to submission.
