About this file
Amendment No. 8 is an extension agreement to Contract No. HW558 between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and two jointly designated contractors: Earth Systems, Inc., located at 223 12th Avenue North, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250, and Felicia M. Boyd & Associates, Inc., located at 1402 Declaration Drive, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250. The original contract was effective February 14, 2011, and this amendment was executed in May 2021.
The amendment extends the contract for an additional six-month period from August 14, 2021, through February 13, 2022, under the same terms and conditions as the original contract. The contractors provide waste cleanup program services within the DEP's Bureau of Waste Cleanup, which includes four service areas: Waste Site Cleanup, Site Investigation, Brownfields, and CERCLA Site Screening. The amendment updates contract management information and establishes specific points of contact for each service area. Additionally, the amendment revises employee eligibility requirements to mandate use of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system for all employees and subcontractors and requires subcontractors to provide affidavits confirming they do not employ unauthorized aliens.
