About this file
This is a vendor checklist document from the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division in Florida for a Sod & Services Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Road, Bridge & Stormwater Maintenance Division. The ITB seeks qualified bidders to provide sod purchase and installation services for turfgrass maintenance in roadway rights-of-way, medians, parks, athletic fields, and County-owned or leased facilities. The checklist does not specify quantities, response dates, due dates, site visits, or bidders' meetings; instead, it outlines the mandatory documentation and certifications required for bid submission through OpenGov. All applicable forms must be executed with wet or verifiable electronic signatures, and failure to provide required documents may result in a non-responsive or non-responsible determination.
The vendor checklist requires submission of eighteen specific items, including the Vendor Declaration Statement, Conflict of Interest Certification, Immigration Certification (Form 3), E-Verify enrollment documentation, local business status certification if applicable, reference questionnaires, insurance acknowledgment, a completed bid schedule, and copies of all required licenses and certifications. Vendors must also acknowledge Collier County Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, County IT Technical Architecture Requirements, and any supplemental requirements. Historically, County departments have spent approximately $1,275,000 on sod services, though this may not reflect future purchasing patterns. Successful vendors must be enrolled in E-Verify at the time of proposal submission and must provide required insurance certificates within five days of receiving a Notice of Recommended Award.
