About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form required for the State of Nevada's Presort Mail Services contract opportunity in the Las Vegas area. The document establishes the regulatory framework and compliance requirements that bidders and contractors must acknowledge when submitting proposals or entering into contract agreements with the state. The certification form requires authorized representatives to certify that they understand the federal lobbying restrictions and disclosure requirements applicable to contracts funded with federal appropriations, and to confirm their commitment to compliance with these regulations.

The form mandates that contractors certify they will not use federal funds to influence federal, state, or local legislative or administrative actions regarding the contract. Bidders must acknowledge the requirements of the Byrd Amendment and related federal lobbying restrictions, including mandatory disclosure of any lobbying activities conducted with non-federal funds. The certification serves as a prerequisite for contract award and remains binding throughout the contract term. This compliance documentation is a standard requirement for state and local government contracts that may involve federal funding or federal oversight, ensuring transparency and regulatory adherence in the procurement process.
