About this file
The document is a Nevada State Purchasing Division Certification Regarding Lobbying form from the Department of Administration located in Carson City, Nevada. This standard certification requires vendors to attest that they have not used federal appropriated funds to influence or attempt to influence government officials in connection with federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements. The form mandates that vendors disclose any non-federal funds used for lobbying activities by completing a Standard Form-LLL and requires the certification language to be included in all sub-award documents.
The certification carries significant legal implications, with potential civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each failure to file the required documentation. Vendors must sign and complete the form, providing details such as the date, solicitation number, vendor name, and an authorized signature. The document emphasizes that this certification is a material representation of fact and a prerequisite for entering into transactions governed by section 1352 of the U.S. Code, underscoring the importance of transparency and ethical conduct in government contracting processes.
