About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form from the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration, applicable to the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Services for DMV Transformation Effort (DTE) contract opportunity with the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. The certification requires vendors to attest that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence federal agency officers, Congress members, or their employees in connection with the awarding of federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements. Vendors must also commit to including identical certification language in all sub award documents at all tiers and require all sub recipients to certify and disclose accordingly.

The certification represents a material representation of fact required by section 1352, U.S. Code, as a prerequisite for contract execution. If any non-federal funds have been paid for lobbying activities, vendors must complete and submit Standard Form-LLL, "Disclosure of Lobbying Activities," according to its instructions. Failure to file the required certification subjects vendors to civil penalties of not less than $10,000 and not more than $100,000 for each failure. The form requires completion with the solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, and date, indicating this is a mandatory compliance document that must be submitted with the proposal.
