About this file
This document is a component specification list for a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Secure Video Teleconference (VTC) system designed to support multi-domain operations with strict air-gapped isolation between unclassified (NIPR) and secret (SIPR) networks.
The core system architecture centers on an Approved Products List (APL) or NIAP-approved Multi-Domain Secure AV Matrix Switch (such as Freeport Multi-Domain Switch or equivalent secure KVM matrix) that serves as the orchestration hub, preventing cross-domain contamination and directing video dynamically to four displays. Video and display distribution requires a NIAP-certified Secure KVM Switch (4-Port or 8-Port configuration) for operator control, four DoDIN APL-compliant high-definition LED monitors (Samsung QB-series recommended) positioned on front and side walls, and separate dedicated codecs for NIPR and SIPR (Cisco Room Kit Pro Non-Radio version specified). Unified control and automation components include a rack-mounted Crestron 4-Series AV controller configured without wireless capabilities and a secure wired touch screen panel (Crestron TSW-1070 or equivalent), with programming required from a Gold Level Crestron-certified programmer to ensure network segregation and secure macro execution. Audio integration requires a DoDIN APL-listed Digital Signal Processor (Biamp TesiraFORTE or Q-SYS Core series), beamforming ceiling microphones covering 100% of room footprint, and analog-only amplifier connections to prevent digital cross-talk with unclassified systems. The dual-camera system comprises two APL-listed non-wireless USB/HDMI PTZ cameras (Cisco Precision 60 or equivalent) with one providing wide-angle room capture and the other focused on the head of table with preset framing. Security and compliance signaling includes integrated LED classification indicators above entryway doors and front displays that automatically illuminate green for unclassified operations or red for secret/SIPRNET operations, controlled directly by the AV processor.

CC VTC System Component List
The absolute core component required to orchestrate this system is a Multi-Domain Network Switch / AV Matrix Switch (such as the Freeport Multi-Domain Switch or NIAP-approved Secure KVM Matrix)
This hardware acts as the secure, air-gapped "brain" that isolates the NIPR and SIPR enclaves, enforces physical switching rules, prevents cross-domain leakage, and directs video inputs dynamically to your four unmirrored displays
1. Video & Display Distribution Components
• The Matrix Brain (AV Switch): An Approved Products List (APL) / NIAP-approved Multi-Domain Secure AV Matrix Switch (e.g., Freeport Multi-Domain Switch or equivalent secure matrix router). This hardware is configured to prevent cross-contamination between NIPR and SIPR sources, routing any of the input PCs or codecs to any of the four displays dynamically.
• Operator Station KVM: A NIAP Protection Profile for Peripheral Sharing Device (PSD) v4.0 Certified Secure KVM Switch (specifically 4-Port or 8-Port, Dual-Head/Quad- Head). This allows the operator to switch control between NIPR (Unclassified) and SIPR (Secret) physical PCs with strict air-gapped isolation and physical data-diode-like isolation on the USB/video channels.
• Four Video Displays (DoDIN APL): High-definition commercial-grade LED monitors (e.g., Samsung QB-series non-Wi-Fi commercial displays) Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
• Front Wall: Two (2) displays (typically configured as "Presenter/Participant Video" and "Content/Slides Sharing") (GFE).
• Side Walls: One (1) display on the Left Wall and one (1) display on the Right Wall to show side-views or localized content feeds (GFE).
2. Unified Control & Automation
• Control Processor: A rack-mounted AV controller (e.g., Crestron 4-Series Control System, specifically a model configured without integrated Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, or with those radios completely disabled/removed).
• Touch Screen Interface: A secure, wired touch screen panel (e.g., Crestron TSW- 1070 or equivalent) placed at the head of the conference table.
• Programming Requirement: Per your directive, the AV integrator programming this touch panel must hold a Gold Level Crestron Programmer Certification to ensure the codebase cleanly isolates control commands, prevents communication between network-segregated devices, and executes secure macro actions.
3. Integrated Audio Solutions (Whole-Room Coverage)
• Digital Signal Processor (DSP): A DoDIN APL-listed AV DSP (e.g., Biamp TesiraFORTE or Q-SYS Core series, non-wireless versions) to handle AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation) and direct audio routing.
• Ceiling/Table Microphones: Array microphones (e.g., beamforming ceiling mic arrays) calibrated to cover 100% of the room's physical footprint.
• Amplifier & Speakers: Integration with your existing speaker system via a secure, analog-only line-in interface to prevent digital cross-talk between the unclassified telephone (POTS/VoIP) system and the secure VTC systems.
4. Dual-Camera Video Capture
• The Dual-Camera Solution: Two APL-listed, non-wireless, USB/HDMI PTZ (Pan-Tilt- Zoom) cameras (e.g., Cisco Precision 60 or equivalent high-definition VTC cameras).
• Camera 1 (Wide Angle): Wall-mounted to capture the entire room/participants.
• Camera 2 (Focused): Programmed with pre-sets to tightly frame the "head of the table" or the primary presenter.
• Codecs: Separate, dedicated physical codecs for NIPR and SIPR (e.g., Cisco Room Kit Pro Non-Radio version) routed into the multi-domain switch.
5. Security & Compliance Signaling (Red/Black Isolation)
• Doors & Displays Signage: LED Classification Signage installed above the entryway door and above the front displays. These must be integrated directly into the AV control processor so that they automatically illuminate based on the active state of the room:
• Green LED: Indicates "UNCLASSIFIED" VTC or presentation is in progress.
• Red LED: Indicates "SECRET // SIPRNET" VTC or presentation is active, indicating restricted entry to authorized personnel only.
