About this file
This document is an appendix to a Request for Proposal (RFP) containing detailed reference information for a Maritime Patrol Aircraft Maintenance and Logistical Services contract. The appendix includes multiple sections covering acronyms, definitions, regulations, forms, maintenance information, and technical specifications for two aircraft platforms: P-3 and DHC-8 aircraft operated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The appendices provide comprehensive technical details including facility and operational hours, aircraft inventory, flight hour projections, aircraft equipment specifications, survival equipment inventories, government-contracted vendors, technical publications, and scheduled maintenance requirements. Specifically, it outlines maintenance schedules for both aircraft types, such as L-Checks, A-Checks, and C-Checks, with precise intervals based on flight hours and calendar months. The document also details government support systems, mission systems, radar equipment, and lists various technical manuals and forms required for aircraft maintenance and operational management.
