5 Key Take-aways for C-3is & AZGFD
• Performance Kit ($2.5 k) is the sweet spot for fixed wildlife-cam sites: rugged, IP69K, 400 + Mbps, and eligible for the low-cost Local Priority 50 GB @ $65/mo plan (ample headroom for multiple 1080p livestreams).
• Flat High Performance is required only if AZGFD ever mounts a dish on a moving vehicle.
• All business-class plans include a public IPv4, native IPv6, and the Starlink Business dashboard for remote monitoring—no extra “software license” charge.
• Priority data is pooled by terminal; C-3is can buy extra 50 GB blocks for $25 (Local) or $100 (Global) directly from the account portal if crane-season viewing spikes.
• Starlink has announced gigabit speeds over the same Performance hardware in 2026; buying the kit now is future-proof—“no hardware changes needed.”
