Attendees should be employed by the prime contractor submitting an offer; subcontractors may attend and must clearly identify which prime contractor they represent on the sign-in roster. Failure to disclose prime contractor representation will result in the prime contractor not receiving credit for mandatory site visit attendance. Visitors must bring valid government-issued photo identification and provide their license plate number upon entry. Written questions must be submitted via email to kelly.wright@usda.gov no later than July 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM Central Time, with the solicitation name and number as the email subject line. The Contracting Officer will determine which questions warrant a response. Offerors are prohibited from submitting Artificial Intelligence-generated questions, including bulk lists of AI-generated questions, as such submissions will not receive responses.

Bring a valid govt. issued ID to be admitted to the site. Once you arrive at the lab please park in the visitor lot on the North end of the building. When you enter through the main entrance, you will need photo identification and your license plate number.

(SITE VISIT ATTENDANCE MANDATORY FOR THIS SOLICATION):

July 23, 2026 at 10:00am local time.

If you wish to attend the site visit please send an email to kelly.wright@usda.gov and kim.ascherl@usda.gov with the title “1232SA26Q0942 Site Visit Registration” please include the name(s) of those attending, along with company information. Contractors must be registered to attend the site visit. If Contractors are not registered they will not be permitted on the site visit. The site visit registration deadline July 22, 2026, any registration request received after July 22, 2026 will not be accepted.

Attendees should be employed by the prime contractor that intends to provide an offer for this solicitation. Subcontractor attendees are allowed to attend, and shall identify which prime contractor they are attending with on the sign in roster sheet. Prime contractors may send proxy subcontractors to represent them in this capacity, given they clearly identify on the sign in sheet what prime contractor they are representing on the site visit. Subcontractors that fail to disclose on the sign in roster which prime contractor they are representing as a proxy, then that prime contractor will not be given credit as attending the mandatory site visit.

Questions

Questions shall be submitted via email to kelly.wright@usda.gov and are due no later than July 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM Central Time. This will ensure enough time to respond before the solicitation period ends.

Please include the solicitation name and number as the subject line of the email. The Contracting Officer will make the sole and final determination on what questions deem a response. Offerors shall not submit any Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated questions, to include huge list of AI generated questions.

AI generated questions will not deem a response.
