About this file

This is a Buy American Certificate template (FAR 52.225-2, October 2022 version) tailored for all supplies in a federal solicitation. The certificate requires offerors to certify that each end product is a domestic end product, except those identified as foreign end products in the document. Offerors must list foreign end products manufactured in the United States that do not qualify as domestic, and for non-iron/steel foreign products, indicate whether they exceed 55 percent domestic content (unless COTS items). Additionally, offerors must separately identify line item numbers for domestic end products containing critical components as defined in the solicitation's Buy American-Supplies clause.

The template is associated with solicitation 36C26326Q0435 for a Rauland Responder 5 Nurse Call System (Brand Name or Equal) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 23. The certificate serves as a compliance mechanism for the Buy American Act requirements and will be evaluated in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 25 policies and procedures. Offerors must sign and provide their name and position on the certificate, with the option to attach supporting documentation as necessary for listing foreign end products.
