About this file
This is a Bill of Quantities document for the installation of a vertical flagpole and related infrastructure at the American Ambassador's residence in Rome, Italy, under RFQ 191T7026Q0027 issued by the Department of State. The document provides a detailed breakdown of materials and labor requirements necessary to complete the flagpole installation project, serving as a pricing basis for contractors to submit quotations. The bill of quantities itemizes specific components, quantities, and unit measurements that bidders must use to calculate their total project costs and ensure uniform pricing submissions across competing vendors.
The bill of quantities functions as a critical document for establishing a common understanding of project scope and facilitating accurate cost estimation. By providing detailed line items and specifications for all materials and labor components required, it enables the Department of State to evaluate competing bids on a consistent basis. Contractors responding to this RFQ must reference this bill of quantities when preparing their quotations to ensure all required elements of the flagpole installation project are included in their pricing, supporting transparent and competitive procurement for this diplomatic facility improvement.
