About this file
This document outlines design review stage expectations for overhead power line, underground infrastructure, underground electrical, and substation projects for Hawaiian Electric. It specifies the minimum deliverables required at each design stage, including the preliminary/30%, detailed/60%, and final/90% design packages. Key details include preliminary design requirements such as general alignments, equipment locations, and conductor selections. Detailed design must incorporate comments on preliminary plans and include updated drawings, calculations, material lists and long-lead procurement dates. Final design constitutes a complete construction package with fabrication drawings, calculations, construction details and electronic design files.
