About this file
This document includes a syllabus and agenda for a two-day in-person training on Collaboration in NEPA. The training is designed for NEPA practitioners and aims to teach participants how to assess opportunities for and integrate collaboration into the NEPA process. Topics covered include collaborative concepts, connecting collaboration to NEPA's goals and implementation, assessing collaborative capacity and potential, designing collaboration tools for different NEPA stages, understanding and managing conflict, and leading collaborative processes. Participants will learn through modules, case studies, skills practice, and applying lessons to their own NEPA examples. The agenda outlines sessions for each of the eight modules over the two days.
The related federal contract opportunity is a request for proposal to provide non-personal delivery services for the National Center for Environmental Conflict Resolution's Collaboration in NEPA training course. The training will cover essentials for collaboration under NEPA and be open to the public and professionals, as well as customized group trainings. The National Center aims to teach negotiation, conflict management, and collaborative problem-solving strategies to resolve environmental issues. The soliciting agency is the Morris K. Udall Foundation.
