About this file

This is a General Decision wage determination document issued by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act for construction projects in Wyoming. The determination (WY20260044) is effective July 30, 2026, and applies to heavy and highway construction work across 23 Wyoming counties including Albany, Big Horn, Campbell, Carbon, Converse, Crook, Fremont, Goshen, Hot Springs, Johnson, Lincoln, Niobrara, Park, Platte, Sheridan, Sublette, Sweetwater, Teton, Uinta, Washakie, and Weston.

The wage determination establishes prevailing wage rates for numerous construction classifications organized by trade type, including truck drivers, power equipment operators, laborers, ironworkers, electricians, carpenters, and various equipment operators. Rates are presented with base hourly wages and fringe benefit amounts. Examples include truck mechanics at $28.39 per hour with $4.73 fringes, power equipment operators at $38.71 with $6.78 fringes, and laborers ranging from $26.16 to $27.73 per hour with fringes from $0.00 to $4.73. The determination has undergone four modifications since initial publication on January 2, 2026. The document includes Executive Order requirements for paid sick leave (EO 13706) applicable to Davis-Bacon contracts awarded after January 1, 2017, and minimum wage requirements under Executive Order 13658 for contracts in effect between specific dates in 2026. Classification identifiers indicate whether rates are union prevailing rates, union average rates, survey rates, or state-adopted rates.
