About this file

This is a Davis-Bacon Act Wage Determination document (General Decision Number ID20260024) establishing prevailing wage rates for building construction work in Idaho and Lewis counties in Idaho.

The wage determination applies to federal construction contracts subject to the Davis-Bacon Act and identifies prevailing hourly wage rates for various skilled trades and labor classifications. The determination covers classifications including boilermakers, bricklayers, carpenters, electricians, elevator mechanics, ironworkers, laborers, cement masons/concrete finishers, plumbers, roofers, sheet metal workers, truck drivers, painters, crane operators, backhoe/excavator operators, drywall finishers/tapers, and asbestos workers. Some classifications include geographic zone differentials based on distance from specified postal offices in Boise, Twin Falls, Pocatello, and Idaho Falls. The determination was last revised on May 18, 2026 (Modification 1), with the initial publication on May 17, 2026 (Modification 0). All rates reflect union and prevailing wage survey data using rate identifiers that indicate whether rates are current union negotiated rates, weighted union averages, or survey-based rates. The document also notes that Executive Order 13706 requires contractors to provide paid sick leave and that Executive Order 13658 establishes a minimum wage of $13.65 per hour for applicable contracts through December 31, 2026. Appeals of wage determinations must follow the established process through the Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division.
