About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for calibration, repair, and replacement services for Fluke electronic equipment at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Calibration Center (MARCC) of Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The contract covers a wide range of precision measurement and calibration equipment including Molbloc flow elements, thermocouple standards, calibrators, multimeters, manometer heads, and other technical instruments. The contract period is two years (one base year plus one option year), with a maximum quantity allowance of $100,000 per year and a minimum guarantee of $1,500 to maintain the service contract.
The equipment will be shipped to three Fluke Electronics service locations in Everett, WA; Phoenix, AZ; and American Fork, UT for calibration and repair. Return shipments will be sent to Catherine Grove at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The calibration services must be traceable to national standards, including the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and any deviations require authorization from NNSY Code 137.2 Metrology Engineering. The contract allows for repair and replacement of equipment as needed, with separate task orders and funding lines for unplanned repair work, ensuring comprehensive maintenance of critical measurement equipment used across east coast Navy commands.
