This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division, dated December 3, 2025 (Wage Determination No. 2015-5535, Revision 27).
The wage determination applies to Washington Counties of King and Snohomish and establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract employees across numerous occupational classifications. The document lists over 200 job classifications organized by occupational category, including administrative support and clerical occupations (ranging from $20.05 to $39.00 per hour), automotive service occupations ($21.31 to $29.06), food preparation and service ($18.98 to $27.82), furniture maintenance and repair ($17.88 to $28.64), general services and support ($20.47 to $28.16), health occupations ($17.61 to $63.41), information and arts occupations ($21.46 to $48.47), information technology occupations ($30.45 to $46.73), instructional occupations ($29.42 to $64.15), laundry and dry-cleaning ($23.17 to $28.67), machine tool operation ($43.36 to $49.12), materials handling and packing ($21.35 to $33.14), mechanics and maintenance ($28.65 to $49.36), personal needs occupations ($19.32 to $25.40), plant and system operations ($35.46 to $45.68), protective service occupations ($20.07 to $54.90), recreation occupations ($18.64 to $36.84), stevedoring and longshoremen ($44.25 to $48.80), technical occupations ($20.07 to $51.79), and transportation and mobile equipment operations ($18.89 to $39.82).
All occupations receive standard fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (or $222.00 per week/$962.00 per month) for health and welfare, with an alternative rate of $5.09 per hour under Executive Order 13706. The determination mandates two weeks of paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after fifteen years. Employees receive a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Special provisions apply to computer professionals (footnote 1), air traffic controllers and weather observers with night and Sunday pay differentials (footnote 2), and hazardous duty pay differentials of 8% or 4% depending on exposure level. Uniform allowance provisions require contractors to furnish uniforms without cost to employees or reimburse maintenance costs at $3.35 per week. The wage determination references the Service Contract Act Directory of Occupations (Fifth Edition, Revision 1) for job duty descriptions and includes conformance procedures under Standard Form 1444 for unlisted occupational classifications not already established in the wage determination.
