About this file

This document is an Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) Template for the FY25 Sierra Pelona Landscape Integrated Fuels contract (Contract Number: 127EAT25S0000). The template outlines comprehensive safety management procedures including management commitment, employee compliance systems, safety communications, hazard identification and evaluation, accident investigation protocols, corrective action methods, and safety training requirements. Key safety provisions include specific guidelines such as stopping work when wind speeds exceed 14 MPH in areas with standing snags, mandatory documentation of inspections, training records, and accident reports.

The template is associated with a Forest Service solicitation (127EAV26R0004) for fuels reduction and landscape management work in Poison Oak Canyon, involving approximately 85 acres of fuels modification, timber stand improvement, and mistletoe removal. The contractor is expected to provide labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, and all necessary operational supplies, including registered Annosus Root Disease prevention compounds. The detailed safety template ensures worker protection and systematic risk management for the complex forestry maintenance project being conducted by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service.
