About this file

This PDF is a demonstration guide for posting solicitations in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) system. The 25-page document provides a detailed, step-by-step walkthrough of how a Solicitation Manager can manually enter and post a solicitation to the Solicitation Portal.

The guide covers the entire process from login to submission, including critical steps such as entering solicitation details (number, type, response date, time zone), specifying contact information, adding volume and attachment templates, and setting access restrictions. Key technical requirements include a 13-character solicitation number format, restrictions on special characters in text fields, and the ability to create draft or restricted solicitations. The tutorial shows how to select product/service codes, NAICS codes, specify performance locations, and upload attachments up to 1.9 GB. The final steps involve saving the solicitation and initiating the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) integration to make the solicitation available to vendors.
