About this file

This is a Lost and Found Procedures document for Terminal Information Counters at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, prepared by the City of Phoenix in support of a Volunteer and Guest Services Management contract opportunity. The document establishes standardized protocols for handling property turned in to information counters, including detailed procedures for intake, storage, logging, and return of lost items. The procedures require staff to complete Property Tags with owner information, date, time, location found, and item descriptions; store items in locked cabinets with keys provided at each counter; log all information electronically on SharePoint; and arrange Terminal Operations pickup for items too large to store. For large items requiring immediate storage solutions, staff must contact Terminal Operations immediately. The contract opportunity itself is a five-year agreement with a commencement date on or about June 1, 2027, with no renewal options and is available through the City's Procurement Portal.

The document specifies that property returns require positive ownership verification through detailed item descriptions and valid photo identification from claimants before release. Staff must document the owner's name, complete address, unexpired ID information, phone number, and obtain signatures on the property tag's "Returned to Owner" side. At shift end, unclaimed items must be retrieved through the communication center via Landside Operations Assistants, with notification required 30 minutes prior to staff departure. No pricing information, set-asides, funding sources, or cost details are provided in this procedural attachment. The document represents operational guidance rather than financial or contract terms and serves as Attachment D to the broader solicitation materials.
