About this file

This is a Technical Capability Worksheet that establishes the technical specifications and requirements for commercial-grade laser or LED projectors to be procured by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 8 under Solicitation Number 36C24827Q0036. Quoters must demonstrate that their proposed projectors meet nineteen salient characteristics, including an illumination source of laser or LED with a minimum 20,000-hour lifespan to 50% brightness, native resolution of 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) minimum, HDBaseT Crestron-compatible input, RS232 control port with open protocol, Ethernet/LAN 10/100 RJ-45 TCP/IP control, published Crestron driver certification, discrete IR codes for backup control, embedded geometric correction and edge blending capabilities, field-swappable interchangeable lens mount with powered zoom, focus, and shift functions, lens and preset memory recall via Crestron, one HDMI 2.0 input with HDCP 2.2 support, TAA compliance, and five-year warranties for both the projector and illumination source. The projectors must be adequately bright for the OVAMC environment and capable of 360-degree mounting orientation.

In addition to meeting the technical specifications, quoters must submit an installation plan detailing day-by-day execution, removal and disposal procedures, testing and turnover methodology, and lens configuration justification. Quoters are also required to provide a letter of authorization demonstrating distributor status from the proposed projector manufacturer and documentation of appropriate Crestron certification for the programmer who will perform integration and programming services. The procurement covers the removal and installation of two commercial-grade projectors.
