About this file

This is a Price Schedule attachment for grounds maintenance services at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. The contract consists of a base period from award through March 31, 2027, with four optional one-year extensions through March 31, 2031. Offerors must provide unit costs and total costs for multiple Contract Line Items (CLINs) covering lawn mowing, string trimming, edging, herbicide applications, and fertilizer delivery across estimated acreages ranging from 150.37 acres in the base year to 168.98 acres in option years. Additional CLINs address headstone and flat marker maintenance, with estimated quantities increasing from 104,010 to 106,450 headstones and 3,855 to 3,875 markers across the contract periods. Optional expansion area services and spot herbicide treatments are also included. The schedule specifies that all unit prices and extended totals must be entered by offerors, with unit prices taking precedence if discrepancies exist.

The price schedule emphasizes that all quantities are estimates for pricing purposes only, and the government reserves the right to adjust mowing, trimming, and edging events based on weather conditions and cemetery projects. Offerors must provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, and supplies to maintain cemetery grounds according to National Cemetery Administration standards. A mandatory post-award conference with the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative is required prior to work commencement. Site visits are strongly encouraged, and offerors are expected to inspect all work sites to understand local conditions affecting performance costs. The solicitation required vendor questions to be submitted by email to david.hester@va.gov no later than 8:00 AM EST on March 2, 2026, with a site visit scheduled for February 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM MST at Fort Logan National Cemetery's Public Information Center.

PRICE SCHEDULE: Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, material, equipment, tools and supplies to complete grounds maintenance services to maintain Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Avenue, Denver, CO 80235, following National Cemetery Administration standards. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of contract award through March 31, 2027, with up to four (4) one-year OPTIONs to extend the term of the contract through March 31, 2031. Units and services to be in accordance with Performance Work Statement, Technical Specifications, Performance Requirements Summary, and terms and conditions contained in this solicitation.

Should extreme weather conditions result in excessive or minimal turf growth, the Government reserves the right to allow mowing, trimming, and/or edging events required by this contract. In addition, the Government may limit the number of acres to be mowed, headstones/markers trimmed, or linear feet of edging during any given event due to other cemetery projects.

Offerors shall enter the Total Cost for each year in the “Summary Totals” where indicated. Offeror shall calculate the Grand Total for all years and enter where indicated.

Offeror is to understand the quantities stated in the schedule are estimates for pricing purposes only. Acreage or linear feet stated in the schedule may not be exact.

SITE VISIT: Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect all sites where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance.
