About this file
This document is a detailed technical specification (Section 275405) for a Consular Queue Management System (CAQM) infrastructure and displays for the United States Department of State Overseas Buildings Operations. The specification provides comprehensive requirements for a queue management system with components including flat panel displays, media extenders, equipment cabinets, and network infrastructure for consular facilities.
The system encompasses multiple installation types such as teller window displays, indoor and outdoor waiting area displays, and manager's dashboard displays. Key technical requirements include 4K resolution displays, HDMI connectivity, VESA-mountable designs, and integration with OpenNet. The specification details both Contractor-Furnished Contractor-Installed (CFCI) and Government-Furnished Government-Installed (GFGI) components, with specific guidelines for cabling, power requirements, mounting, and system configuration. The document includes a detailed hardware worksheet that categorizes components by their furnishing and installation responsibility, and provides installation, testing, and grounding instructions for the complete queue management system infrastructure.
