About this file

These documents are a collection of Operational Control Documents for construction contractors at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), focusing on environmental and occupational safety and health management. The documents cover various critical aspects of construction work, including storm and surface water discharges, solid waste generation, electrical safety, fall protection, and physical hazards.

Each document follows a standardized format detailing significant hazards, compliance obligations, operational controls, maintenance plans, and responsibility assignments. Key operational controls include wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, ensuring proper training, conducting site inspections, using machine guards, following manufacturer guidelines for tools, and implementing safety measures such as de-energizing electrical circuits and restricting roof work during high winds. The documents are part of the MMAC Environmental, Occupational Safety and Health Management System (EOSHMS) and are reviewed annually, with the most recent revision dated March 22, 2021.
