About this file

This is a sample mock project scope of work for replacing approximately 500 square feet of vinyl tile flooring in Building 1's Customer Service Office at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The work requires removing existing vinyl tile, preparing the concrete substrate, installing new 24" x 24" Tier I authorized vinyl tile, and installing new 4" rubber cove base. The contractor must provide all tools, labor, equipment, instruments, demolition, transportation, and materials necessary for the project.

The scope includes specific requirements for floor preparation (scraping, brooming, vacuuming), proper substrate preparation including repair of defects, installation according to manufacturer specifications with precise tile alignment and fitting requirements, and proper disposal of removed materials off-base. The work must be phased and can be performed during and after normal duty hours. This mock project is part of a larger Blanket Purchase Agreement solicitation (FA8136-25-Q-0003) for flooring services at Tinker AFB, intended to help vendors demonstrate pricing methodology for small projects.
