About this file

This document is a Statement of Structural Tests and Special Inspections for the project to rehabilitate the historic Sheriff's House at First State National Historical Park in New Castle, Delaware. It identifies required inspections and tests for steel construction, concrete construction, masonry construction, and other structural elements. Inspections include verifying materials and installation of reinforcing steel, anchors, formwork, and concrete placement. Tests require verifying concrete strength and inspecting welds. The Construction Contractor must correct any deficiencies and the Structural Engineering Firm must submit inspection reports to the Contracting Officer.

The related federal contract opportunity is a re-solicitation to rehabilitate the historic Sheriff's House. The requirement was previously solicited under Solicitation 140P2021R0064 but no contract award was made. The new Solicitation Number is 140P2021R0148. The requirement is for the Department of the Interior National Park Service National Office to rehabilitate the historic sheriff's house at First State National Historical Park.
