About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division. The determination covers service employees in Texas Counties of Callahan, Jones, and Taylor under Wage Determination No. 2015-5211 (Revision 34, effective 8/6/2026).

The document establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefit requirements for service contract employees across multiple occupational categories including administrative and clerical support, automotive service, food preparation and service, furniture maintenance and repair, general services and support, health occupations, information and arts, information technology, instructional, laundry and dry cleaning, machine tool operation, materials handling and packing, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant and systems operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring and longshore, and technical occupations. Wage rates range from approximately $11.11 per hour for entry-level positions to $48.87 per hour for police officers, with most positions between $15 and $35 per hour. All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week or $222.00 weekly/$962.08 monthly) or $5.09 per hour for certain positions covered by Executive Order 13786. Additional benefits include two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after eight years, and four weeks after 15 years; paid federal holidays; hazardous pay differentials of 4% to 8% for applicable positions; and uniform allowances of $3.35 per week for positions requiring uniforms.
